Michael E. Kovack, Medina County Auditor, has been named a nominee
for the 2011 Chief Financial Officer of the Year by Crain’s
Cleveland Business. This is Northeast Ohio’s only program
dedicated to honoring the unique contributions and accomplishments
specific to financial officers.
Nominees are recognized as Greater Cleveland’s top financial
professionals for their strategic vision and outstanding fiscal
leadership of our business, government and non-profit communities.
Auditor Kovack, Medina County's Chief Financial Officer since 1993,
has been recognized with many state, local and national awards for
his innovative excellence in office.
A special article covering this year’s class, including Auditor
Kovack, will be featured in the October 17 issue of Crain’s
Cleveland Business.
