ANN & NANCY!

Dear
Medina County Residents,
Congratulations to Ann Wagar and Nancy Girton, of
my office, who are retiring at the end of the
year! This is both a happy and sad time for
Nancy, Ann and our office. It goes without saying
that they will be greatly missed. |
Ann has worked for the county for 26 years, as
the Director of Financial Reporting. She has
helped prepare the Comprehensive Annual Financial
Report (CAFR), a publication providing financial
information for the citizens and officials of
Medina County. My office has received the
Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in
Financial Reporting every year, thanks to
Ann’s dedication and commitment to the
CAFR. Her amiable personality and
good-natured sense of humor have made it a
pleasure to work alongside her. |
Nancy has worked for your auditor’s office
for 13 years, as our Community Relations Deputy,
as well as our Human Resources Deputy. Her wide
range of skills has helped promote the services
of our office to residents and the community. As
the coordinator of the Regional Pet Adoptathon
for the last 12 years, Nancy’s efforts have
helped more than 2,000 animals find loving homes.
Her enthusiasm and cheerful disposition have
instilled an upbeat atmosphere within the office,
which will continue even after her retirement. |
These
two women have been wonderful employees and great
friends to everyone in our office. We will miss
them dearly.
Congratulations, Ann and Nancy! On behalf of the

we wish you the best of luck in your future.
