Attention All Fourth Graders!!!
Do you think your dog or a friend's dog
is the best dog living in Medina County?
Yes, that's right--the dog must be alive! If so, you could
win a special dog license tag, prizes for your dog and great
prizes for you too!
Here are the contest rules you must
follow:
- The contest is open to all Medina County students
currently in the fourth grade. You must write an
essay about why you think a particular dog is the Top Dog
in Medina County. You will be judged on your essay.
- The dog and the student must be living in Medina
County.
- Only one entry per student. We encourage you to
create your own entry form with your art work, but you
will be judged on the essay.
- Pleas PRINT clearly. Each
entry must have: Student's Name, Full
Address, Phone #, School, Teacher's Name and Name of
Parent or Guardian.
- Entries must be the sole
work of the contestant---Mom, Dad,
friends can't help you write this!
- All entries must be received in the Medina County
Auditor's Office by November 13, 2009. Medina
County teachers may send class entries to
Geri through the County Board of Education Pony System
(Media Center) or entries can be mailed or hand-delivered
to the Auditor's Office at 144 North Broadway, Room 306,
Medina, OH 44256.
- Entries will be judged by a panel of staff members from
the Medina County Auditor's Office.
- Awards will be presented in the Medina County
Administration Building, Room 303, on December 1, 2009 at
4:00. Winners will be asked to bring their
families, their teachers and the winning dogs for a photo
opportunity.
- Don't
forget: There will be lots of neat prizes for the winners and their dogs
including the first four dog tags for 2010!
