 Dog License Renewal Information

Dog licenses are designed to assist in the location and return of a lost pet.  Please remember that dog licenses are to be renewed between December 1 and January 31 of each year. During this time period the cost is $12 per license. If you do not purchase your license during the December-January time frame, an additional $12 late fee is charged. Any pup over the age of 3 months must have a license. If you are new to the County or you have just obtained a new dog, please make sure to get your license within 30 days and it will only be $12.  The following locations sell dog licenses. They are located throughout Medina County for your convenience.

Should your dog lose his tag, please stop by our office at 144 North Broadway, Room 303, Medina, and we will make a new one for you. There is a $1.00 charge for replacement.

Remember, as of December 1, you can renew your dog's license on-line.  Just go to the Buy Dog License page to the left of this screen and follow the simple instructions.
