MEDINA COUNTY AUDITOR’S SCHOLARSHIP

MICHAEL E. KOVACK, AUDITOR

         The scholarship shall be awarded to a senior graduating from a vocational program at the Medina County Career Center or
          Wadsworth High School or a home schooler planning on pursuing further education in a vocational career.
         A transcript of grades must be included with the application.

The amount of the scholarship shall be $500 to be used toward tuition, books or other school expenses. The money shall be paid directly to the student at the conclusion of their senior year when proof of acceptance and enrollment has been verified by the selection committee.

The scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of sincerity in furthering one’s education, student citizenship, and school/community involvement. Financial need will also be considered.

The scholarship must be used during the school year immediately following the award.

Completed applications must be submitted by April 17, 2008.   They must be accompanied by a transcript from the school.  Applications should be mailed or hand delivered to Michael E. Kovack, Medina County Auditor, 144 North Broadway Street, Room 102, Medina, OH 44256.
